Provided by Mike Preston, Veterans Memorial Committee In honor of those who have served in our Armed Forces, the San Marcos All Veterans Memorial Committee invites you to a Veterans Day Celebration at the Memorial in San Marcos. Date: Saturday Nov. 7 We look forward to each of you joining us for this tribute to our Veterans. Dress is casual. Parking is available across the street at the CVS shopping center and at the Church of Latter Day Saints parking lot. Attendees are also invited to a ‘pig roast’ barbeque at the VFW post 3795 at 212 W. Mission Road in San Marcos. The barbeque will start at 2 p.m., and proceeds will be donated to the San Marcos All Veterans Memorial phase 2 project.
