Santa to Visit Christmas Party!

Provided by Joseph Tosto, Membership Chair

The Optimist Club of Carlsbad, ‘The Achievers,’ will honor widows and children of our fallen heroes in

the Iraq and Afghanistan wars with a Christmas party on Dec. 6.  Santa will grant everyone’s wish lists, a huge dinner will be served crafts, cookie decorating and Christmas carols will be enjoyed by all.

This project is one of the Optimist Club’s most meaningful of their many projects. During the party, Santa will make a visit, Carlsbad Police Explorers will be on hand to provide assistance, a very special fire truck brings Santa – and there will be a few other surprises.

For more information on this event and the many projects the Optimist Club of Carlsbad offers, call Linda Gans, 760-730-0703.  Photo / Joe Tosto
