Palomar Pomerado Health Sponsors Candy-Buy-Back Program

Palomar Pomerado Health (PPH) is partnered with the national Candy-Buy-Back program with local dentists to give children a healthy alternative this Halloween.

Children with excess candy were encouraged to turn in their un-opened sweets to participating dentists and get reimbursed for a $1 per pound.  The candy will then be sent as a gift to U.S. troops serving our country overseas.

The Candy-Buy-Back program will take place at several participating dentists in San Diego County on in early November.  For a complete list of participating dentists and days they will collect candy, please visit: www.halloweencandybuyback.com

WHAT:          Candy Buy Back:
Children receive $1 per pound for unopened candy.  Sweets are then donated to U.S. troops stationed overseas
