Artists fill the gallery with raw materials this November. Explore the mediums of Glass, Metal and Wood this month with artists like Mike Shelbo who fascinates us with his miniature glass caves and Jim Stone who takes us under the sea.  Everyday we are grateful, Thanksgiving included, for the creative energy that flows like a waterfall keeping us inspired and producing work.

Join us in the community celebration of Americana during Mark Twain week in Escondido. Local furniture maker and master wood worker Brian Murphy will show us why American made furniture is so sought after by collectors, including auction houses during Art Connection, on Sat., Oct. 14, at 2 p.m.   Brian Murphy has also made a great 'contemplation' bench for the gallery, so we can all take a minute or two to contemplate and enjoy the artwork.  Scroll down for a whole list of community activities downtown during Mark Twain week in Escondido.

Want to make some stuff?  Join in during workshops this month making miniatures with Carlos or surface treatments with Claire-Lise  We are in preparations for 2010 including plans for the student show in March.   If you would like to donate artwork for a silent auction benefiting this exhibition please contact me at the gallery.  If you have any spare black or white linens, the gallery can use some of those also.  The gallery exists because of your support, so thank you for being a member.   If you haven't joined the EAP yet, sign up at the next reception...look for Carol Mansfield's friendly face.
