About the Juror Fritzie Urquhart graduated from Ohio State University with a Bachelor in Fine Arts degree and San Diego State University with a Master of Arts degree. She has been a teacher and an artist in Ohio, California and New Zealand. "Painting and sculpting is for me the process of discovering the extraordinary within the ordinary and creating art that celebrates those qualities. Art receiving for "Summation 2009," juried by Fritzie Urquhart, will be Nov. 20 and 21, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Escondido Municipal Gallery. Up to two pieces of art may be entered. "Summation 2009" represents an artists’ focus over the past year.
