The Vista Art Foundation is pleased to present the mixed media work of Ed Moores for the month of June. His show will open on June 4. A reception in his honor will be held on June 8, from 5:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m., at the Vista Village Art Gallery, 127 Main Street in Vista, and is free and open to the public.
Moores graduated from San Diego State University with a degree in Fine Arts. He taught school for 30 years and now devotes himself full time to his work. He specializes in figure drawing, mixed media, watercolor, pen and ink and acrylics.
His most recent works are large, dynamic florals in watercolor. He is a jurist, lecturer, teacher and workshop leader. He holds his classes in studio as well as plein aire.
Moores is associated with the San Diego Water Color Society, San Diego Museum of Fine Arts Guild, State of California 13 Agriculture Division and numerous associations, guilds and art co-ops. He is available for consultation, lessons, lectures or workshops with original art, prints and commissions.
